2024 Spring UTokyo LAINAC Workshop

「UTokyo LAINACの10年、そしてその先へ 」

UTokyo LAINAC, in cooperation with the Latin American Studies Center at Doshisha University, will hold its 2024 Spring Workshops in Tokyo and Kyoto. The theme of the workshop will be to reflect on UTokyo LAINAC’s 10 years of international academic exchange activities and strategic partnership projects to inform future research and student exchange activities. We will also welcome researchers and students from our partner universities in Chile and Mexico to exchange our ideas about our new research projects and findings. We appreciate generous support by Professors Koichi Usami and Nobuko Shibata of the Faculty of Global and Regional Studies, Doshisha University, without which this event would not have been possible.

There are two presentation formats: (1) “Research Presentation” and (2) “Toward Future Research Collaboration,” as indicated in the workshop program below. In (1) Research Presentation sessions, the presenters will present the findings from their previous or ongoing research. In (2) Toward Future Research Collaboration sessions, the presenters will present their ideas about new research projects and discuss the potential for international collaboration in the coming years.
